Eudora Welty suggested, “Write about what you don’t know about what you know.”
Amanda only knew how to drive a car when she was hired to write extensively about them. Through research and what often felt like endless inquiry, she published a significant amount of work, regarding all things automotive. Silvia Datsun, her spunky pseudonym, provided her the opportunity to blend what she didn’t really know (cars) with what she did (creative writing).
After surprising herself with more automotive knowledge than she ever hoped to have, Amanda is confident in her ability to craft content devoted to just about anything. Freelance clients have expanded to include the health and wellness industry, a photography school, and the world of dentistry.
